To help raise awareness for Dementia Action Week 2018, staff at Leicestershire Life Links attended events at Oadby and Wigston libraries on Wednesday 23^rd and Thursday 24^th May 2018. Dementia Action Week ran from 21^st-27^th May 2018 and is organised by the Alzheimer’s Society.

This was a great opportunity for our staff to be on hand to provide information, support and navigation to people affected by dementia, whether that be personally or through caring for someone with  Dementia.

It was also really beneficial for staff from Life Links to meet and connect with other organisations  to help raise the profile of our Life Links service and to share information on the various types of support and services  available to the residents  of Leicester City and Leicestershire County.
