As part of the Mental Health Awareness week we discussed kindness and particularly the effect it has on us.
One of the group members said that they show kindness by helping their parents during this period with house work, computing and other needs in the house. Another group member discussed how they help their neighbour who in turn helps them with shopping, running errands and sometimes daily tasks.
We have discussed that kindness can help us feel more positive and have a sense of achieving something meaningful. During these trying and difficult times, its important to remember that it is better to give than to receive.
