Life Links attends the Sangam Ladies Group!
Our recovery workers Seema and Lise and our volunteer Yvonne were pleased to attend the Sangam Ladies Group at Trinity Methodist Church this week, to present an Assertiveness workshop.
The workshop aimed to provide attendees with the skills and knowledge to enable them to communicate more confidently and effectively in everyday life, using assertive behaviour techniques and language.
During the interactive group session the participants shared ideas and thoughts around how assertiveness could benefit their personal lives. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, and they shared some great feedback on the day including:
